    Most frequent questions and answers

    The need for safety seats for children should be requested by the User as an additional comment by specifying the number and age of children to be transported as well as the required type of seating.

    While they aren’t professional guides or narrators, all our drivers speak English as required for
    their profession.

    We want all of our passengers to feel safe and comfortable whilst traveling with
    Europe-Journey. So the type of car depends on the number of travelers in your
    group and we always make sure it meets our strict requirements in terms of size.
    Our drivers operate with these types of vehicles:
    ● 1-3 passenger/s – comfortable sedan – up to 2big + 2 small suitcases
    ● 4 passengers – family MPV – up to 4 big suitcases
    ● 5-7 passengers – large VAN – up to 7 big + 7 small suitcases
    ● If you prefer a larger vehicle, please choose a different number of travelers
    in the booking form according to this description to ensure your preferred
    type of transport.

    Big luggage (29 x 21 x 11 inches = 73,6 x 53 x 28 cm)
    Small luggage ( 22 x 14 x 9 inches = 55,8 x 35,6 x 22,8 cm).

    Passengers are responsible for damage to the vehicle interior caused by incidents
    such as vomiting or food spills. A 60 EUR cleaning fee is charged for significant
    damage

    Our drivers are not professional tour guides. They are professional local drivers who
    are knowledgeable about the area and they can provide you with their insights into
    the local life and culture.

    On our website you can find all the routes we offer throughout Europe. If you did not
    find your desired route within our offer, just contact us via email
    info@pragueaustriataxi.com and we will do our best to meet your request.

    The quoted price is final and there are no additional fees for Europe-Journey
    services.

    We accept Visa, MasterCard and Apple Pay for online bookings. The full amount will
    be charged upon booking.
    The payments are securely processed by GoPay, a licensed payment processing
    company. Pragueaustriataxi doesn’t have access to your credit card details.

    All our transfers include Door-to-Door service on your schedule.
    Your private driver will pick you up and drop you off at your chosen address – your
    hotel, apartment, restaurant, airport, bus/train station, harbor dock or any other
    location that is accessible by car.

    We regret to inform you that local authorities decided that all traffic (except for local
    taxis), including vehicles of long-distance transportation companies, will not be
    allowed in the inner part of the historical center of the town between 10:30 am and
    15:00 pm effective from October 2018.

    meeting points for customers departing from (and drop-off points for customers
    arriving to) Cesky Krumlov below.

    We demand the highest standards of our drivers and we put them and our vehicles
    through a number of stringent checks. We also make sure our vehicles are regularly
    maintained to the highest standard and we can guarantee you a comfortable journey
    in a secure environment. Due to the fact our drivers are locals they are familiar with
    the habits of the road and know the area very well. In any care we personally
    interview each of them and provide them with extensive customer service training as
    well.

    booking Voucher number.

    If you cancel your booking, you are eligible for a refund of your deposit as follows:
    ● 24 hours before departure: 100% refund
    ● cancellation after 24 hours : no refund
    ● no-show: no refund
    In case the customer has multiple bookings and makes a no-show for any of their
    transfers, all the latter bookings will be canceled.
    The customer can request the latter bookings to be reactivated provided that the
    seats are still available.
    Otherwise the customer can request a refund of the cost of the latter transfers
    according to the above stated timeline. The time of no-show will be considered as
    the time of cancellation.
    The same as above applies for changing the date or departure time of shared
    shuttles less than 24hrs before departure. It may be possible to change the date or
    departure time without losing the deposit in some cases. If you need to make a
    change, please contact our customer support and they will let you know whether it is
    possible. Generally, the sooner you make the change the higher the chance is.
    *A 5% manipulation bank charges fee is non-refundable in every case.

    The prices don’t include tips. They aren’t mandatory and the drivers are well paid,
    however if you’re satisfied, it’s nice to tip the driver e.g. 10 % of the total price to
    express your appreciation of his or her work.

    1. All guests must follow the regulations which apply to the relevant Road Traffic Act, especially the seat belt regulations.
    2.  It is prohibited for guests to open the doors while the car is moving.
    3. It is also prohibited to throw any objects from the vehicle or stick body parts out of the vehicle or make loud noise.
    4. Smoking is prohibited.
    5. The consumption of food is discouraged. Alcoholic drinks are only allowed to be consumed in the car with prior consent.
